MOZAMBIQUE Hunting Information

Scott,

The plan is to fly into Tete and spend a couple days there, then to a camp in the Luia concession area. 3 weeks there, primarily for leopard, then to another camp on the Zambezi for croc and hippo.

Start is mid June.

Primary focus will be on the leopard, that will complete my Big Five. I'm not really interested in plains game, spiral horn, or any of the other groups. Always interested in croc and hippo, cape buffalo if the right one presented itself; I'll post a picture of the 4 I got in Tanzania and I'll think you'll understand.
Elephant is always on the list, but I don't think they're exportable from Mozambique. Looking to do elephant in late 25 or 26.

Mountain lion and elk are on my list, maybe a moose, I haven't hunted much in North America. Right now feral hogs are at the top of the list - bastards have found their way through the fence and into the area around the pond we just put in. I just ordered a "Hawg Trap", should be here in a week.

Back to the Mozambique hunt, the PH says the unrest is not near the area we are hunting, never-the-less, I will be monitoring closely.

Here's the trophy/mount of the 4 Cape buffalo i got in Tanzania

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
