Thank you very much for these video clips Jerome! That's very nice of you!

Very professional looking videos, Thanks for showing them here!

Wow, those are very high quality videos. Did they get close or what!
Noticed in the one video the hunter was using a GoPro on his head.
Thanks for the clips.
Looks like you can sheep hunt in Africa. Except you are carrying a 40 inch wide set of horns out on your back. Incredible. See why this was an exciting video.

In response to my inquiry to the availability of "Buffalo Hunters" Part 1- The mountain Challenge,
The nice folks at Safari Press (USA distributor for Hatari Productions) told me the DVD is not done yet and will hopefully be available here in the USA in the Fall of 2011.
Having a copy of Rainer's first film, I can't wait to get my hands on this new one.

A very cool old thread!

No doubt that the effort and views when hunting in mountainous terrain just add so much to the experience. The dense bush in these videos is beautiful. This looks like a wonderful area to hunt! What a dream :)

One of the most interesting things about these decade old threads is seeing the changes that have occurred since it was written.
I wonder if the vhs copy is worth more now than it was back then. . . As a collectors item maybe-I will have to look for these productions on YouTube when I get home from work.

Excellent and recommended production. One of the few hunting videos I can stand to watch. “Old guys rule!” IMO, of the two produced on Mt Loosimingor, Part1 is the better.

VHS treasure?- maybe I can sell my copy to fund a trip. :)

Due to its extreme rarity, probably a great deal. His work was published in DVD format not VHS.

Yes DVD-my apology. There is a copy of this production avaialble on eBay

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
