What modifications to the extractor or ejector on a post 64 model 70 do you guys suggest? No issue with mine so far just asking.

If you are referring to a bevel so that you can drop a round in the chamber and close the bolt then I wouldn't advise that. If you practise using your thumb and left hand to push the round into the magazine, you can reload just as quick and more reliably.l

Post 64 Model 70 as in a push feed ? That's what Post 64 used to mean, the introduction of the classic CRF muddied the waters. I am not aware of any modifications available or needed for the push feeds, just keep the extractor and ejector clean and lightly lubricated with lightweight oil. The extractor has a spring and plunger under it that needs to move freely to be reliable.

Here's a photo of Tony receiving that Shaw & Hunter award at the 1970 annual EAPHA Dinner Dance. Tony Dyer, then EAPHA President and Princess (Sunny) von Auersperg presented it. I also attended the event.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.
