Mission work and Hunting Africa

Welcome aboard!!

Kudos on your work- Praise the Lord!! Best of luck planning a hunt!

Tim,

You might give Game 4 Africa some consideration in the East Cape. We just returned from an 8 day family hunt. Part of the reason we selected them was
for the opportunity to participate in their charity Upliftment project in support of the Ndwayana Primary School. This school comprised of grades 1-7 is located a short distance from the lodge and serves the local community. I can only describe the setting as being similar to a reservation in the US, but am sure you are well aware of similar circumstances given your experiences. G4A donated two large boxes of ground venison during our visit to supplement what otherwise appears to be a daily hot lunch consisting only of hominy. They had already provided a fridge through the collections of previous donations to store meat, a rain water collection system on one of the two school buildings (their only source of drinking water) and were providing paint for the building interiors; with more improvements and projects forthcoming to include a sand-water filtration system for the kitchen. We brought and donated 50# of cooking utensils, school supplies, first-aid items and a dozen soccer, dodge, footballs and frisbees which we inflated there of course. These were a big hit as when we arrived the kids were playing with a deflated rugby ball and a soccer ball made of wadded paper and tape.
The lodging, hunting and location exceeded all exceptions otherwise and would surely provide for a great plains game hunting experience. Their package prices also seem to be among the most reasonable I have come across on AH.com. Overall it was a great experience for us.

Cheers

Welcome to the site and thank you for what you do help others.

Welcome and blessings to you Tim for your work abroad. Just keep the lines open and I am sure with some connections someone will fix you up. May look at some of the culling hunts on AH, or possibly talking to some of the outfitters on here about trading out your services to some of their local communities in exchange for a discounted hunt. I have tried on every safari to take some time, and resources, to give back to the communities that are hosting me. Lots of needs out there.

Good Morning Tim

Great work you are doing.

I saw you were looking for some Swift A-Frames for your 9.3. I just bought a bulk supply of them in the 285g. version. If Toby's are gone, I could let 100 go for $200 shipped you are interested.
Thanks,
Gary
