Merry Christmas to the AH family.

Have a happy and blessed New Years and 2015.

Happy Hunting.

Merry Christmas Bossie to you and yours... And to everyone on AH!

Thank you all for the well wishes guys.
We are back safe although we had some misfortune down at the cost but that is life in Africa.
On the second night of our stay we had a brake in and got robbed from a lot of stuff.
Cell phones, cameras, money, credit cards etc.
We thank the LORD that no one got hurt in the poses as the burglars were in the house while we were sleeping in the rooms next door.

Luckily the rest of the time went great, here are a few pictures.

Arrival at Maak a Jol Sodwana Bay (a Small DRINKING town with a DIVING problem) :A Drive:

The only two fish we caught were on the first day and I threw them back. Can you believe it???:A Bang Head:

Then it was time for DJ and I to ride the waves on DJ's inflatable Wave Runner:P Swimmer:

The weather did not allow us to swim and fish each day so we got into the car and went down to Richards Bay for a day at the harbor.

We had lunch at the DROS in Richards Bay while waiting to go on the boat cruise later the afternoon

And what is lunch without a Beer??:D Beers:

DJ figured it out how to take pictures with the only camera we had left. Me - Henriette and Uryke. (Most of you won't know Uryke, she is Henriett's daughter from a previous marriage I helped raise Uryke since she was 4 years old. There is a 14 year gap between Uryke and DJ one would think the gap might help a lot but it's a nightmare, Uryke's dad past away in a terrible car accident a few years ago, he was a great guy indeed)

Then it was time for us to go and see what happen in the harbor.

The rest of the time was all about swimming, riding the waves, eating pine apples and junk food.
I gave up fishing early.

With a last visit to the ocean the kids quickly filled some bottles with sea water for Erick and Sannetjie who were waiting back home.

Then the busy road back North

We stopper in Piet Retief to visit Henriette's mother and spent the night there

This morning found us back on a
typical African road again

Now we are safe at home and ready for action.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
