Merry Christmas gents!
What’s the import loopholes like on the red and white antilope at the back?
Thanks @Hunter-Habib no disrespect taken……I’m a kiwi anyway. You did miss out full English breakfast with black pudding and real bacon. Still think SA Nando’s and is the best. Hope you enjoy some quality Thai food Tom kha gai is one of my favourites.@Sideshow
Great Britain has many excellent foods (Sunday roasts, fish & chips, steak & kidney pies, Leicester Red cheeses, West Country English Red Cheddar cheeses, steaks, Yorkshire puddings, etc).
But for some strange reason, the food at the British KFC outlets taste far more bland than the food at KFC outlets from other countries. No disrespect intended.
On the flip side of the coin, British Nandos outlets serve far better food than Nandos outlets in other countries.
There are different sects of Islam (some who celebrate Christmas and some who don't). We (my family, friends and the vast majority of Muslims in Bangladesh) 100% celebrate Christmas, because the Quran considers Jesus Christ (Hazrat Isa, son of Mary/Marium) to be one of our Prophets as well.Too bad you're not home for holidays (but as I recall you are Muslim anyway?). Great that the family is with you. All the best in the new year.

Thank you for sharing this. I always enjoy learning how various religions around the world compare with what I have practiced all my life. I feel it helps me to better follow the example of love and humble service toward all that Christ set for us (admittedly, I fail at this daily).There are different sects of Islam (some who celebrate Christmas and some who don't). We (my family, friends and the vast majority of Muslims in Bangladesh) 100% celebrate Christmas, because the Quran considers Jesus Christ (Hazrat Isa, son of Mary/Marium) to be one of our Prophets as well.
The only religious difference is that Muslims consider him to be one of our Prophets while Christians consider him to be the Son of God. Either way, he and his sacrifice are very important for us too.
Christmas is a government holiday in Bangladesh.
@SideshowMerry Christmas @Hunter-Habib your a braver man than I!
Can’t stand KFC in our family we nicknamed it Kentucky Fucky Chicken.
Good to see your spending it with family. Safe travels and hope the fat man brings you that PP 600
And the best of all the holiday season to you and your family as well my friend!Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas & a Happy New Year. As for yours truly, I'm spending this Christmas in the midst of travel. I (along with my son & daughter-in-law) had to pick my eldest granddaughter up from Norway (she's on holiday from her final semester in the University of Oslo) and we're currently in transit at Thailand. We should be back home to celebrate the holidays with the rest of the family by tomorrow evening.
Right now, we're enjoying Christmas the Thai way- at a local Kentucky Fried Chicken outlet near the airport (no joke, more Thai people go to KFC than any other fastfood outlet during Christmas). The food's great although I much prefer Popeye's to KFC. Unfortunately, it appears that I've never been able to teach my family how to choose good food. I'm the only one who ordered Original Recipe fried chicken. Everybody else went for that modern monstrosity which KFC calls the "Extra Crispy". The Thailand KFC outlets also have these delicious little Pastel De Nada Portuguese Egg tarts which are more addictive than crack cocaine.

Anyway, have a great one ! And pray that this year I finally manage to get my hands on a .600 Nitro Express James Purdey & Sons sidelock ejector (although a .600 Nitro Express Heym Jumbo definitely wouldn't hurt either). Or a Joe Smithson .505 Gibbs built on a Granite Mountain Arms African Magnum Mauser action.
Warmest Regards,
Habib
