Scope is in excellent condition and functions as it should (including the illumination) but does not come with factory box or manual. Meopta lens cover included. $750 shipped to US address.
I am going to try this scope a second time on AH before I consign elsewhere as I feel this is lot of glass for the price. I only accept cash, check, or USPS money orders from established members. DM if interested.

As I mentioned on @Dirtdart's previous classified, I really like the Meopta R2 1-6x24 RD because of the generous eye relief (which I usually need a lot of). I have eight falling block rifles which can be a challenge to find good scopes for & this model works particularly well on my 303 British. If I didn't already have two spare scopes sitting unused on the shelf, I would have bought this one.

@Dirtdart , this is a superb scope.

The illuminated 4C reticle in this scope is proper. I have handled and mounted one on a rifle locally (Sport Optics, Hammond Louisiana, a large wholesaler of premium optics nationwide) that is only 6 miles from me. These originally retailed for around $1300. Great glass. At 62, I can't discern the difference from Swarovski, Leica, Zeiss, and I have compared all side by side. Meopta scopes are built really well.

Somebody needs to buy it before I succumb to temptation.

GLWS.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
