In all the furthest corner of my gun store, covered by an inch of dust, I found this one.

Love the Mannlicher-Schoenhauer range.. I had a 9.5x57 MS made in 1910, with the J type magazine!

Nice GK HWL! I really like the Mannlicher-Schoenauer too. I have a 1908 proofed in 1919:

Unfortunately not...had a house break in years ago in Johannesburg and they managed to break open my rifle safe( we were way on holiday)...stole all firearms and ammo plus plus plus...!!!!
This was in 1997 and still nothing recovered..

Sorry for this... today, it is almost impossible to get a 9,5x57 Mannlicher-Schoenauer...

...in my little MS collection is a Take Down and a "Stutzen" ... sometimes I think about to hunt with on an african trip.

..perfect for pigs in Europe

Have exactly the same rifle in .270. It was equipped with a detachable Griffin & Howe side scope mount which both looks very period and works perfectly.

53 gr of N540 will accelerate 175 gr Sierra Pro Hunter....

Tomorrow is range day, ....and I will awaken this rifle to a new life!

Old thread I know, but nice rifles. I am actually pondering the purchase of one, a '65 GK. We shall see.....

My biggest concern it the scope arrangement. It has the high claw mounted 4X Hensoldt and with the low comb buttstock I can see a riser likely would be needed to get any kind of cheek weld and swapping scopes out is not really an option and 4x is just OK.

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
