I think ethics training/re-training is a good idea. I suspect that “everyone” follows ethical hunting anyway. However a training day refreshes the memory and sharpens the mind.

I agree, an ethics component of training and certification is probably a good idea.
The “surprise” part right as safari season is starting, probably not so much
