Tragic. But they are basically wild animals with wild instincts.

Though not witnessed, nor something I'd wish on my worse enemy, I can assure you his pain didn't last long! Those boys get the job done in short order!

There is no reason to hate crocs, they are just doing what crocs were designed by nature to do. Nature is neither right nor wrong it just "IS WHAT IT IS"!

Mac,

Very true these crocky boys are designated & designed to carry on the onslaught naturally in this manner. The death roll of these powerful beings is a nightmare for the victim who does not live ninety percent of the times to tell the tale.
Correctly said "IS WHAT IT IS " agree with you hundred percent ........

I am going to have to show this to my girlfriend, she thinks I'm too paranoid about water.

WOW!!!!! what a gruesome sight!

Jerome, I remember this. I live in SC not too far from here. I have fished, boated, and water skied in this area many times. There are some really big gators in the low country, and sometimes they are not given the respect they deserve. I do remember one more thing about this. If memory serves me correctly, and my memory is not to good so it may not, but I do believe that not too long after this happened SC began having an alligator hunting season. There has been one ever since.

Here in Louisiana when you see the words man eating alligator it means it's fried or in a sauce piquant!

Awesome croc out of the Matesti Hunting Area in Zimbabwe with PH Steve Meyer. Have a look what we found inside of the croc's stomach.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
Very inquisitive warthogs
