Please share some photos of mounted roan - I’m trying to decide how to do mine. Thanks everyone.

In for this one. I am thinking pedestal of some type.

I think mine came out well, it takes up some real estate though

Mine is being done as a wall pedestal to be placed on the wall behind and above my sable pedestal mount. I should have from the taxidermist in the next few weeks and will post some pics

When @tarbe and I moved my taxidermy from Houston to God’s Country made me question having all of it done, damn sure made me realizing I won’t ever move away from Montana again! @ActionBob and @justgina made me question the sanity of the few guns we moved! Sometimes smaller is better! But having been born with such a small penis I must make up for it in other ways! Lol

Thank God there are alternatives available to at least partially compensate;)

I’m working on a Roan but I like a plain old shoulder mount. Same with sable. Slight turn on the Sable straight ahead on the Roan!

Here is my Roan trophy shot last year in SA. It is getting ready to be shipped to me here in Houston. I did consider a shoulder mount but went with a simple shoulder mount.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
