I'm trying to find a bore guide for my Winchester 458 WM and can't find any larger than a 416. Do any of you good people know where I can purchase one. Thanks for any and all help.

The Tipton universal bore guide that ii available from Midway will handle rods up to. .425 dia. Unless your rod is larger than that it should work.

Thanks Joker but it's too small for the jag and patch

I'll second Possum Hollow I have bore guides from them that range from 22Hornet to 505 Gibbs

Thanks guys. I have messaged both Possum Hollow and PMA.

NW any luck with Possum Hollow? I have also sent a mess to them. who is PMA? never mind found them but they say they do not do straight wall cartridges

Hello, I ended up going with Possum Hollow for the bore guide. They will not be able to install an o-ring but will have a deep enough throat that it shouldn't be a problem. PMA was very responsive and honest. Please see their response to me below.

Thank you for your interest in PMA Tool.
The 458 Win Mag is pretty much a straight-walled case, therefore an o-ring snout isn't able to seal in the chamber while still leaving enough room inside the rod guide for a jag with patch or a brush to pass through. We can make you a custom rod guide for that rifle, but it will have a tapered snout in place of an o-ring. In reality this is no better than using a less expensive rod guide from Boretech or Pro-Shot.
I'm happy to make one for you, I just always want to make sure we educate our customers, especially when a custom item, may not do the best job.

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

X5i scope is perfect - thanks for an easy transaction! Buy with confidence.
Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
