Well at the end of the day everyone has the right to do as they see fit. It’s truly sad that people will live in glass houses and throw boulders. This used to be a great community of like minded people. Sure we all have our own beliefs and differences but it used to be handled with class for the most part. Now there have been several outfitter sponsors and great members that have been ran off by those who believe they have the right to demean others just because they don’t like something.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens when many members and sponsors alike decide it’s not worth the money and time to advertise or try to participate in conversations due to a few self righteous people that can’t show any decency or respect. It’s sad.

You feign taking the high road like few I’ve ever seen on this site. It’s seems unless it’s agreeing with your view that we are elitists it’s disrespectful to everyone on this site. This discussion could be respectful but you choose not to from the start.
For sponsors that you claim have been run off. I call BS. They are welcome to use that reason, but a more realistic reason is South Africa is saturated with outfitters and PHs. Some offer something exceptional. Most in Limpopo are offering 90% the same hunt. Competition is high and many don’t have something that makes them stand out compared to the competition. Limpopo sponsors should be able to end this discussion with one post. They don’t participate because the full truth doesn’t align with the marketing in many cases.

Finally made it! My wife will be glad to know that I’m an elitist now! Only 44 years of working outside with my hands in the Texas heat and blue Northers. Hell, I’m out in it today! Had to warm my fingers to type this.

You have respectfully been trying to deescalate the conversation as well as get everyone to move on. There are a few of us fired up as we are pretty tired of certain things. My purpose has not been to make enemies, though I'm well aware I've been taken off of several Christmas card lists.
This has been an ongoing problem and there are a lot of us, sponsors and members that have had it with some of the shenanigans. My phone, email, pm box, whatsapp, and messenger have literally been blowing up with people that are sick and tired of this crap and grateful someone is willing to stand up and say something. A lot of the RSA outfits are scared to say something, understandably, but are at their wits end with this to the point they are seriously looking at non renewal. That would be tragic for this community as well as the site itself. The difference is I will not back down and I am not intimidated nor scared of the keyboard warriors.

You might consider looking at the likes on gizmos recent posts as well. It’s also the same several individuals. I wrote what I think if someone wants to like them it’s their choice, but this becomes a smaller conversation the more unprofessional and repetitive it becomes.
