Hello everyone.
Im looking for preferably a post 64 Winchester model 70 LH CRF in 264 mag. I do have a line on a couple donor actions (to re-barrel) guns. But thought I’d throw it on here see what’s out there. Thanks

LES7, take a look at Zastava, maybe not as pretty as some but very functional.

Zastavas are built like tanks and extremely functional.

I’ve had some luck recently on a couple 375 H&H’s, a 416 rem mag, and a 458 Lott. so I thought I’d try keep my luck going

I bought up a bunch of LH New Haven M70s a few years ago before prices went nuts and used them for project guns. Never ran across any 264's but I do have one left in 7 Rem Mag that I cant decide to build or sell. I need another project rifle like another hole in my head.

I just picked up a 7mm (or Id be interested if you were selling) & a 375 h&h. gotta do a little research on which one would be better to rebarrel into 264. the guy that sold me the 375 said he was pretty sure they never made the new haven leftys in 264? only way would have been out of the custom shop?

I would 100% rebarrel the 7 Mag over the 375. There are so few lefty CRF 375s remaining and they run the full 3.6” mag box with the wider opening on the rear bridge for ejection. The SAAMI 264 will fit in the 3.4” 7 Mag mag box and probably feed relatively easy.

I almost built a 264 but opted to go 280 Ackley and love it.

Beautiful rifle! And I agree w/ you on the 7 mag rebarrel.

Use the 7 mag. Pretty much just have to screw the 7 barrel off and put a .264 on.

Other than the bolt and cheek piece being on the wrong side, it is a lovely looking rifle.

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!
