Let's See Some Hunting Knives

Von Gruff
He built me one a few years ago. I should have taken photos of it. Little Kukri.

This was during Covid.

Price initially quoted was not honored, and he was a dickhead about me not answering emails while I on vacation for two weeks.

I paid him for it, it showed up about two months later. Which was bullshit, because I order from Swazi in NZ all the time and stuff shows up within a week.

I gave it to a friend of mine when he retired.

Quality was ok, but like that Menafee guy he wasn't worth dealing with.

Here I founded the updated version of this from last year.

I have not ordered any in a while. Reminds me I need to get a few going.

The bottom knife is the Loveless knife.

Oh you guys buy hunting knives? I just make mine! Here are a few I made recently for myself and friends.

Edit: ugh... excuse the reflection of my bald head in one of the photos lol
Beautiful!
Love seeing that some of you guys love nice knives… most NA hunts wind up with guys buying trendy stuff or super lightweight stuff. Life is too short to own ugly knives

*not that I’m judging the lightweight stuff… I shave ounces in my pack too!
Lets see you
What is the knife second from the left?
I bought that knife around 20 years ago from a Gent that did online auctions.

I've tried to track him down for years but can't find him online.

The knife holds a good edge, sharpness well and is not wearing down from all the sharpening I've done.

Nice who made this Loveless Pattern knife?

Here are mine. I took this photo last year. These are slab sided. I gave the top bully Bob to my father a couple years ago.

The top 3, from a smith in Michigan I can't remember the name of.

4th knife, can't remember maybe Menafee. There are like 25 custom knives up stairs. I can't remember them all.

5th knife is a 1990's manufacture 100% Bob knife made by his buddy in Japan under license. Probably not worth anything, but as Bob says "a knife is supposed to feel like your pecker in your hand when you are 16". It does.

I made the loveless pattern knife….well all of them to be exact.

A couple of years ago I started making my own knife. I cheated, there are a number of guys in the Rockies who make the blanks. Then I carved the mammoth ivory for the scales and fitted with mosaic pins. Finished by fitting a leather sheath. Enjoyed it enough to make numerous ones for family and friends.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
