My Ruger 44 carbine, “made in the 200th year of American Liberty”.View attachment 646139

One of my favorite rifles. Little thumper. Brained 2 hogs with one shot at 50 yds with one.

It's become an heirloom at this point since they don't make them anymore.

M14 rifle..

Pretty sure there's nothing more American than the simple Ruger American (308 pictured).

Pun obviously intended for the above. While I really do enjoy shooting that one, if I could only ever use 1 model of rifle, I'm that guy and a fan-boy of the Remington 700. My trusty 30-06 would be able to get the job done anywhere in the world. Bought it used at age 16, and it's still the one I grab when I'm down to crunch time.
No photo readily available on that one, but you've all seen a 700 before.

Winchester Model 1886 in 45-70, built around 1906.

My grandfather purchased this rifle used in the 1930s, and passed it onto my dad in the 70s who passed it onto me in the late 90s.

Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
