Henry, congrats of getting a Leopard permit.

This is all in; tag, trophy fee and day rates?

Pre-baiting costs?

Henry this is a great deal for a leopard hunt in RSA and even better deal for an AH member hope someone jumps on it.

Agree on that notion.

thats an excellent price for sure. especially if there are a good number of leopard in the area. do you have an idea if theres a large population in there. my SA leopard hunt last year cost $17,000 and thats $3,000 cheaper. my wife was given a $13,000 leopard tag in zimbabwe this year but that was only because i purchased a leopard hunt at normal price first. my leopard cost me $18k so your hunt of $14k is quite a good deal as long as theres a healthy population of leopard where you will be hunting.

Hi Henry, i think i called you about a month ago, do you still have the leopard available?

Hi Henry,

Should your Client wish to hunt the Cat over Hounds then I can assist with having this method permitted by DEA.
Hound service is charged at 25000 USD for 10 days with a kill fee of 2000 USD.

Please feel free to call should you have any questions.

I dont mean to be rude, but isnt that a bit stiff? I mean, I can hunt a lion in addition for that price.

Hi Wolverine,

The extra cost might seem like a lot at a glance but you must consider that apart from the high risk my hunting companions are exposed to, there are several other expenses we absorb during the course of training a hound over the 3 to 4 year period it takes to produce a reliable experienced individual. A pack usually numbers at least 8 fully trained hounds with some 訴n-training additions so you can do the math. Included in the service is the valuable experience my team possesses after 12 years of tracking and hunting cats, plus all the equipment and another vehicle which often prove to be a tactical benefit especially in large hunting areas. At 250 USD a day it is a deal.

This is all secondary however in comparison to the wonderful experience of hunting a Leopard on foot, in broad daylight, in his terrain and on his terms, over a pack of bawl mouthed hounds.

Much better Gavin! Original post stated $25,000 USD. Scared Wolverine67 and myself!!

My apologies Gents, I see the typing error.:o 2500 USD for 10 days with a kill fee of 2000 USD.

Do you travel to southern zimbabwe? I was told i need to pay $4,000 per cat and that there is no day minimum only pay by the cat. We have two leopard permits for the area and are bringing in a houndsman so if you can do $4,500 for 10 days I would rather you get the job. If there is a chance I can get both cats in 10 days then its money well spent. PM me if you are interested.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
