I love the Ruger No1!!

Thats the way I worked right bolt rifles also.
Had few left bolts’ ldidn’t like them. I can shoot righty and have killed deer that way. I’m just faster from the left

Apart from left hand bolt rifles, What rifles are ambidextrous for both left and right, the ones I have are true ambidextrous
Winchester 1895
Ruger No1
Winchester1885
Most other rifles may be used by left/right like Winchester 94 or Remington 7600 but loading or ejection is for right hand but operating rifle no difference....

Most of the autos, well sort of.

Not sure what kind of bass ackwards club this is but I qualify. Only problem is that growing up dad didn’t recognize left hand or right hand. You just used what you got handed. So I became largely ambidextrous. I shoot left handed and left eye dominant but prefer right handed actions all my guns and bows are right Handed. It threw my ph for a loop the first time I hunted africa!

I'm a full time left handed shooter unfortunatly all my rifles, Excl. my 470, are all right handed rifles...

Do I qualify?
If you don't then my brother doesn't either--he learned to shoot the right hand rifles left handed, and even though I bought him a lefty action 30'06, he doesn't use it!! Too hard to form a new habit?

Add the Thompson/Center Encore and Contender to your list. You can get left and right handed after-market stocks, but the action and basic rifle stock is ambidextrous.

Tell me more about the Mini Mauser 6x45?
Is that a custom on a Zastava action?

Just about ideal for Impala.

That’s correct. Its a Zastava mini mauser action, imported from the US. The barrel was fitted by Truvelo. I found a semi-inletted stock, also in the US, finished by a gunsmith in Pretoria.
It is an impala rifle par excellence and my son, 11 years old, won’t let go of it.

If you ever want to sell one of the left handed M70's , shout.
I'm looking for a Gemsbok rifle and .270 WSM and .338 will do.

Get hold of Sabi Arms/ Magnum Arms in Nelspruit. Eugene Combrink has started making Sabi Actions and they are available in left handed configuration. Pricing isnt too bad either

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
