Leather products

I have been quite pleased with the buffalo leather sling I have from Courtney I bought through African Sporting Creations.

I am losing weight at the moment but when I stop I plan to get a belt etc from them as well.

Have to like Murray Leather in Texas for some of what you are looking for (ammo carriers and belts). Not sure about the cape buff part, but I have heard that he will make products out of your tanned leather after you get back.

I have the Courtney boots and the Cape Buffalo leather belt. Of course I have put on weight and the belts a little tight but I’m working on it.

I’ve been using Murray Custom Leather for a number of years and never been disappointed. He can also make items from leather you send to him.

I recently purchased the 5 round cartridge holder in the original site shown from Etsy. I believe the seller was called "Suede Living". Same exact product and price. Very good quality. I would buy from them again.

I really like that sling although it is a bit pricey for me. Sent them an email inquiry.

In 2021 when I made my last order, the prices were not "cheap" but they were noticeably less than what they are today.

Jacques does ship to the US. I have a bunch of his stuff. Very nicely made. He is very easy to work with, and will do custom orders or modify his products to please you. I find his prices very reasonable, his speed of completion and shipping times are also very quick. You will be pleased.

Sent him an inquiry as well. Does he ship to US?
Yes. Very quickly. I had a belt and some cartridge slides made about a year ago. Over the summer I had the idea for a larger carrier to keep in a bag in the truck. I emailed him a dedication. A few weeks later he sent me pictures and shipped it before my payment even cleared.

I have bought a few rifle slings for my Ruger No. 1s from a vendor I found on Amazon, Wayne's Dog. I have not used them much yet, but the leather seems good. I got the ones that hold cartridges on the sling.

I have a liking for Kangaroo leather, tall kangaroo leather trekking boots, just below the knees (thin & light but strong & durable) protects my lower legs & lets them breath, I've also had multiple pairs of Linen Golfing Breeks modified they breath better than pants and protect more than shorts (reinforced with Kangaroo leather patches around the butt & quads).

Bought a Murray Leather sling, the sling is wonderful. Rifle carry’s great with it.
Also use a Murray Culling belt. It is very comfortable, I can forget that I am wearing it.
Courtney boots. Use not only for hunting, but wear them while traveling.

Elmolinodeviento.com is in Spain. They do ship abroad. Some nice stuff well made and reasonably priced.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
