KWALATA SAFARIS 2023 Safari Hunting Season

As our season progresses we’ll be posting some additional pictures, of trophies harvested as well as wildlife on Waterberg Wilderness and our neighboring concession lands.
Here are a couple to be followed by more soon!

Check out the Kudu Scrum cap!!

Our two long time Polish friends brought their sons over this time to do some hunting and they did really, really well considering recent legislation outlawing kids from hunting in Poland.

Some great trophies! The smile on the young man’s face says it all!

Please tell me the reason Poland outlawed youth hunting ?

I can’t give you a valid reason. The argument that won though was that it could turn kids into bloodthirsty psychopaths.
I find it very disturbing that this was the route that was followed. Very disturbing to put it mildly…
You are now able to obtain a hunting license and legally hunt only once you have turned 18 years old.
My best always.

Johan was guiding as well, but his team took it slow and enjoyed the father son time a bit more…
They did have some great sightings and had seen the entire dangerous 7 in the first two days!

On the Mozambique front we have taken an absolute hiding. Our camp based in the Niassa Special Reserve was absolutely hammered by Cyclone Freddie and we will have to do a full rebuild and clean up in 42 days…
Attached some images of the beating we took…

If anyone can assist with how to load a short video clip I’ll add that too.

Jaco, I’m sorry to hear about your misfortune in Niassa! Best of luck putting camp back together. On a more pleasant note, the pictures from Waterberg are wonderful! That Kudu looks very nice indeed! Deep curls. See you in 39 days!

That buffalo! ;)

Wow that cyclone really hammered things. So sorry that mother nature got her panties in a bunch.
It will take a fair bit of work to rebuild things. But I know with your guys work ethic it will be a proper camp in no time.

Yikes looks like the camp got hammered! Did it get Jumbos camp as well? Sorry to see the damage and know alot of hard work is ahead. Hopefully mother nature cooperates for you in the short term!

Thought that I might as well continue by sharing some of our Niassa Special Reserve highlights. Regardless of opinions, there truly is NO SUBSTITUTE for TRUE WILDERNESS HUNTING. The Niassa reserve delivers some of the very best wilderness hunting experiences in Africa today. Once you have visited this truly wild part of Africa it makes you understand. Truly special…
