Kudu Taxidermy Pictures

Just got back in July from my 1st trip to South Africa and I plan on getting a pedestal mount of my kudu looking for ideas please send pics thanks Abster.

Hi Abster71 Congrats on your Kudu! Were are you planing on having it done? I had my floor pedestal mount done by Cecil at Umlindi Taxidermy in Tarkastad, South Africa. the first pic is the day I got it home the second one is after I used a Cedar stump to make the pedestal.

We are shipping our animals back to the states and having custom taxidermy in Milwaukee Wi do the work I see you have the same issue with low ceilings as I do. Some great trophies you have there. Congrats

The way the back of the pedestal is finished can add as much to the mount as position or the pedestal itself. There are many options and your imagination is your only limitation.

Those are some great Kudu and beautiful mounts.

Here are mine. The first is a Southern Greater Kudu that I shot in the Limpopo Province in 2000.

Kudu was taken while hunting with Trevor Lake - Lake Safaris...in the KZN area.

Taxidermy Work was completed by Animal Artistry...

The Kudu piece was completed in August.

Nice trophy. Brings back old memories...I did very kudu shoulder and kudu pedestal at Animal Artistry for 1 1/2 years I was there back in 2001-2. I remember doing 2-4 a week sometimes.
