Sure looks like it. First pic seems to have been earlier in the breeding season with the thicker neck.

First pic he is focussed on the cameraman, second one he has his ears cocked back and head slightly more forward.

Great Kudu, with a huge tip to tip spread! Beautiful animal!

I do not think they are the same Kudu. Kudu 1 looks a little heavier and they do not appear to have the same marks on the horns. Could be due to age though between both pictures. Only @JamesJ and @Dox (who originally posted Kudu 2 picture in 2009) could tell us for sure.
