Mounting a Kudu , and the horns were over boiled, cracked and lifeless.
Having never mounted a Kudu before, let alone attempt horn repair to such a damaged specimen, I wanted to give it 110%.

@Samantha looks good. Looks like the beeswax treatment. It works for any horned animal.

Yes i followed R.L. Reinert's method that he shared on the Taxinet site. I just mixed it up a little with a few more ingredients. :)
 
I used car paste wax multiple coats on my african animals
 
Nice work! Ted has always done mine but my current hog deer pedestal mount is about $1000. Can't afford him anymore, hate to think what the red I have to mount would be.

Yeah retiring means you can charge what you like :) Your welcome for a walk through anytime though.
