Client double?!? I know three of the more famous PHs in Africa who use the K-Gun. They could care less about the whole nostalgia nonsense - they are all about efficiency, accuracy, safety, and dependability. What a rifle.

Great rifle at a fair price. The first double rifle I ever fired, and a “big bore “ was exactly this type of rifle, at a public range in South Carolina, 20 years ago.
I was hooked.
The gentleman hunter was going back to Africa for his 12th safari. Lights out accurate.
He was gracious enough to let me fire 6 rounds at 100 yards on a manilla folder. The accompanying 30-06 was equally accurate.

I have always been impressed by German engineering and manufacturing. The Krieghoff did not disappoint.

I was referring more to the caliber. I think the .500/.416 is the ideal caliber for a client with a double. Reasonable recoil, hits hard, and serious penetration for ele.

I agree Krieghoff is plenty good enough for a PH.

I didn’t mean to imply inferiority in any way. I have two of them. Lol.
