KMG Safaris Round 2

Funny, I thought about my last night in Africa going to a casino in PE. Either sing the blues or pay for my next safari, LOL

I don't believe Marius has even been to the casinos.

that makes him a smart gambler greyfox
cant loose if you don't bet .....:nonono:

I hunted with KMG Safaris in July 2013 and I highly recommend to hunt with Marius.
He is a great outfitter and PH.
I guess I am one of the few hunters he has had that didn't fill my want list.
But I guess the main reason for that was that I chose the harder way by trying to get my animals by spot and stalk with a bow in rifle hunting areas.

I hope to be able to save up enough money to book a hunt with Marius again in a not so distant future.
I have a few scores I need to settle with a some animals :)
I highly recommend to hunt with Marius.

I guess the highlight of my hunt was when I crawled into a deep warthog den to finish off and get my hands on a Warthog I wounded.

I agree with you, hunting East Cape Kudu and bushbuck is quit the experience. Dollar for dollar some of best hunting in the world.

x3 I haven't chased Cape Bushbuck, yet, but hunting Cape Kudu in the koppies was a blast.

My dad and I are going for the first time in June 2015. We have heard nothing but good from him and about him. From what I'm told he is a practical joker and really laid back guy, but serious on hunting. We can't wait!

wicked exactly the person I wanted to talk too

P.s cpreso, norwegianwoods, gutterdoc PM's are inbound

great to hear even though you didn't get all the animals on your list you are still going back, its references like yourself where if everything didn't go quite to plan (not necessarily the outfitters fault) and you still loved it then it definitely the company I want to go with. what compensated the most for not getting all of your animals?

must admit flag going into a warthog den, a boar would be bad enough but those hogs look ruthless you must have some big kahuna's haha

thanks again for your response and to everyone else's responses you have all have removed any doubt from my mind will post up here how I'm progressing with booking the hunt so that hopefully if anyone in the future looks into KMG they find this thread and help remove any doubt from their mind, as there are too many glowing references to be ignored

thanks again all will keep you posted

I've hunted with Marius and highly recommend him. I'm confident he can get you plenty of animals.

HI MattNZ
I will be hunting with Marius this May 21-30, will be posting my trip report when I get back. So far I have had nothing but positive feedback from Marius, I do have an issue though as my wife has taken a new job and will most likely not be able to go with me. When I informed Marius of our problem he has tried to fit us in at a later date and even offered to push my hunt to 2015, also kudos to Loir Ginn for all her efforts in helping with alternate flight plans. So in short I have decided to go by myself unless for some reason she is able to slip away for 2 weeks. so look for my report in early June. Kurt

I just booked in with Marius will start my Safari on the 7th and leave on the 16th of July 2015

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
Everyone always thinks about the worst thing that can happen, maybe ask yourself what's the best outcome that could happen?
