KMG Hunting Safaris AH Members Group Hunt With BRICKBURN In 2020

@YancyW Did you get this new acquisition out to the range?

I did get to shoot a bit, I used both a factory load, Hornady DGX 400r, and I some hand loads. I don't have a scope mounted yet, I was just seeing what I could do open sights. Both the Hornady and my 350 gr TSXs handholds were shooting about the same, both shot about 3" at 50 yards.

I have been using my reloading time and range time to get ready for my elk hunt in Wyoming this September.

Marius — Can you list the tentative hunters for the each time slot on the original post? Or alternatively, the number of open spaces for each time slot? I am interested in the first hunt but it is simply too soon for me to know my work schedule that far in advance.

@accipiter The numbers have changed, so I can confirm that
there are several spaces still open in the first group at this point an at least one in the second.

I hope you can come along.

I warmed the barrel on my new 416 with open sights and then worried about accuracy after the scope was attached.
Look forward to the results.

@accipiter I will do so for you sir. Just currently tied up with a Buff hunt, will get on it asap.

I'm in with an extra hunter for 11 August – 22 August 2020 hunt. Please PM me information for paying deposit.

:A Banana:Two more hunters! Good to have you on board.
Marius will update the list when he stops hunting for a few seconds. :P Elmer Fudd:

Excellent! This is the offer of the year. The dinner and campfire each night will serve memorable camaraderie.
Too soon to know my availability but I would love to be a part of this.

.......

I have to agree about all the fibbing around the fire. It should be great fun.

So, what is everybody going to be hunting that has joined in thus far?

Sure sounds like a great time...

I think it will certainly be a big feature of the hunt. Given that members do have some back ground in the cyber world and share an addiction to hunting in Africa.

I'll be hunting Eland, Vaalie, bushbuck and my buddy that's tagging along will be hunting kudu and nyala. We both have a few other animals on the list, should they pop up.

So I've got a tentative list going:

The for sure list: Kudu and bushbuck

The almost sure list: Vallie, Blue WB

The additional contenders list: Steinbok, duiker, Red HB, Common Reedbuck

My stepdad and I hope to be able to go fishing as well(y)

Who knows what mind changes will be made between now and then :ROFLMAO:

I am after Eland, Nyala and Bushbuck. After those are in the salt, then I plan to take see what comes my way. However, I can't say for sure, because I feel like there will be some smoking deals Marius is waiting for us to get there before we find out about...

Glad to see there are Spiral horn lovers in the mix.

It is starting to look like the Bushbuck will be a contender for a small friendly wager of some sort. :D

Darkest Ram? ;)

Creative. We can add that angle....

There's a lot of options out there for a sophomore hunter and a lot of time for lineup changes, but right now I'm liking: zebra, tiny ten animals, caracal and whatever I happen to be lucky enough to cross paths with!

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Do you have any more copies of African Dangerous Game Cartridges, Author: Pierre van der Walt ? I'm looking for one. Thanks for any information, John buzzardhilllabs@hotmail.com
NRA benefactor, areas hunted, add congo, Mozambique3, Zambia2
Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
