It's amazing how many photos he and Flex made it in!

Yip, compulsory for them to be in photos for every animal they recover. (y)

You are very welcome pal. You talking about your or the Nyala's hair? The Nyala at least had an excuse. Fell into the river....

That last eland is a grand old bull Marius (y)
I'll chime in as one side of this story.
It was.
There's a lot to the back story and present story to that fine bull. Time wise It could have been a shorter story, perhaps under an hour that day, but I had a few branches in my line of sight I didn't trust in the beginning that led to four hours of play back and forth until it lined up with a good quartering shot and insurance shot I took. In that time add two cows, a younger bull, a wildebeest and a wandering baboon that showed up to keep us on our toes. Oh, and a fine duiker ram who was napping in the bush behind us, we noticed when he sneezed. The rest is history and memories. Oh yeah, and how do we get the massive antelope in the trailer??
All worked out.

Congrats Ryan! They are a great animal to hunt. Love the great ruff on your bull.
The bull back on top of page 8 is mine taken with Marius this year. You're right, seeing the guys manhandle that into the back of a Landcruiser was something to see!

Aye, those are some fine animals!

Hunting, photographic safaris and unforgettable African experiences

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
