my vidal is 16 years old now and still come for the stalk . her eyes are to far gone now and she tends to stay behind me now . but her nose still has some quality to it and if she starts scenting the air like she used to before she used to take off ,l drop one into the chamber ,with out ever thinking twice .
up until around 18 months ago she was the best hunting accessory lve had.
l really want to get another youngen ,but im respectfully waiting till she has passed .
a mate got one a month or so ago .ceasar he named him and at 11 weeks he has already got a samba hind to his credit .
he is as crazy as a cut snake ,and wont listen yet . but damn he is keen .

Nugget here. A guide gave me the nickname as I looked similar to Nugent at the time. Hunting for over 50 years yet I am new to hunting in another country and its inherent game species. I plan to do archery. I have not yet ruled out the long iron as a tag-along for a stalk. I am still deciding on a short list of game. Not a marksman but better than average with powder and string.
