Its here!

Being blessed with women who hunt and like to have the taxidermy displayed are a rare gift, looks like we both scored on wonderful wife's!

The nice trophies, you will forever be able to look at them, close your eyes and picture everything about the safari.

When is the next safari? and what is on your list and what is on your wife's?

I'm happy for you that they all arrived safely. They look great. You had mentioned who did the Springbok and that you'd use them again. You also mentioned two taxidermists. Does this mean you weren't happy with the others?
From the pictures they all look very nice! When are you headed back?

The other taxidermist did OK work and honestly it is better than I was expecting based on what I have seen and heard of from African taxidermy shops. The two springboks are noticeably better.

I could nitpick every little detail on them and choose to be bitter about it, but I don't. To each their own. I'm not at a point in life where I can go on trips like this very often, let alone receive Smithsonian-quality taxidermy after it. But for now I can tell you that there is not a day that goes by that I don't walk by these mounts in my house and think " Wow, what an animal, what a trip that was." To me, that is the meaning of a trophy, not inches or perfection.

We are headed back.... someday! Not sure when but every time I think about it the species list grows. And so does the budget which means I need more time to save up!

I couldn't agree more about what makes a trophy! Very well said!! :S Agree:
I'm also happy to hear that you are happy with your other mounts too, even if they aren't done as well!

As far as the budget, I'm going soon and have room for two, so if you're interested, send me a PM.
It will be cheap!

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
