I am not familiar with the details, that matter. Rivolier I not familiar with.
I thought, from previous posts that FN/Browning was in the lead to purchase V/C.
Can you please explain?

This is what we all thought, and even when Rivolier came with their offer, I didn't think they could stand in front of FN Browning but the commercial court decided the opposite and prefered to leave that french brand to a french business.
Rivolier is a big importer and distributor in the country and their "neighbour".
In the past, they bought Kettner france, but their politics was not so good, and this mythic name disapared in the country.
