Is this Legit?

The fingers have straight-line edges and the shadows are wrong. Plus those nails are nasty. The trigger guard of the rifle has a completely different background than the alleged floor. The note is excessively pixelated when it shouldn't be, even the edges. And of course the lines on it are way too widely spaced.

Even without the whole "This stock must be for a GI JOE!" size issue, there are plenty of other signs it's a scam. Sad that they get through here...

When you zoom in on the fingers it’s like they w cut around with scissors. Also the note is strange the way it’s on the trigger guard :E Shrug: Id still not buy it as that varnish job offf:sick:

It does however demonstrate how easy the date next to rifle thing would be to fake. IF he was better at Photoshop you wouldn’t notice the scale.

Looks perfectly legit to me.

This has been instructional. I recently bought a nice Mauser stock off GunBroker. I never thought to ask the vendor to take a picture of himself with the stock. His articulation was not great either. But it turned out well. Guess I was lucky. Thanks.
If you tried to buy anything from anyone I work with you’d think they were scammers too. Most can barely read/write. But they’re all good folks :)

Is his name Shrek?

So I put a thread on here that I was looking for a Remington 541 in Curly Maple. A forum member (1 month on the site) messaged me and says he has one. He sends me photos and a price. I like it but I tell him I need a picture of him holding the rifle and a sheet of paper with todays date. He sends me this pic. Is it me, or do the fingers look to big on that rifle stock?View attachment 606701
Just in case this turns out to be real, I'd suggest you not take him up on an offer to thumb wrestle him for it.

Is that Toby’s kitchen counter?
