I am sure if you drop a dead mule recoil reducer in it it will be just fine!Perhaps a recoil reduction system such as this might be incorporated?View attachment 373591

Just add some lead say about 10oz should be enough. Dont forget there is a new muzzle break that has been engineered specially for this calibre. @TOBY458 you should look to a 6.5 version tooI am sure if you drop a dead mule recoil reducer in it it will be just fine!
Wheres the fun in that?? Your not using the vast cavern of case capacity to its full potentialor you could do a 7mm version and load it back to 7x57 performance.
bruce.
We did indeed try the 6.5 caliber in our new case design. Although it was a decent performer to be sure....we found that .277 caliber was needed in order to achieve 5000 fps in our proprietary 17" double chambered barrel. Also, Craig Boddington would not get on board with advertising, unless we paid homage to the great Jack O'Conner.Just add some lead say about 10oz should be enough. Have out tried Joseph (J) Allen Smith?? Let him know I'm involved he will be in. We got on well at DSCWe did indeed try the 6.5 caliber in our new case design. He pimps those Gunwerks thingies, so we're not interested in his endorsement at this time. He once used our Stainless M70 375 H&H, but now that he has gone rogue, we can no longer make use of his services.Have out tried Joseph (J) Allen Smith?? Let him know I'm involved he will be in. Thats a fair point. You got to tell me though is this new round gonna make my shores?? I would love to be the guy that put it on the map in Europe (and the UK).He pimps those Gunwerks thingies, so we're not interested in his endorsement at this time. Check out this new caliber I'm developing for Winchester. The 270 WLFUM will fire a 130 grain WW Power Point at 5000 FPS! It will be the longest range deer/elk/PG rifle ever produced! The Cartridge will be housed in the new M70 Long Fat Ultra Mag Action, and will be sure to spawn a plethora of knock off calibers, such as the 404 WLFUM and many other traditional calibers of the future. But of course, with a muzzle energy of 7216 foot pounds, the 270 WLFUM will already handle any game alive, so there won't be much need for additional calibers. And the Power Point projectile has already been proving itself in the field for decades!
So pre-order yours today!

Eleventy Bazillion.Any estimates on the Taylor KO?
@rdogON a serious note Winchester has made over the 270WSM its called a 6.8 Western read about it.
or you could do a 7mm version and load it back to 7x57 performance.

@rdog
It runs at some pretty serious pressures of around 80,000psi and a fast twist. It would be awesome with the 180gr Woodleigh.
