In your opinion what makes a Rigby a "Rigby"?

Hank, yes that's in a "normal" situation, but it's happened sometimes when you tracking wounded game and you in more open plains need to take a shot at 200 m... that's when a detachable scope is handy to have.... But we are different and have different views, and I'm a terrible with open sights on longer distance.. :)

Did you test shot it yet ?

G
I did test shoot it today, and the target is above a few messages.

Im terrible with open sights as well - I think its a function of older eyes - I shot a bongo in Cameroon with open sights, but the bullet went through a tree on its way there - a tree I didn't see when I was focused on the target and the end of my rifle. The scope I have is detachable (Recknagel), and I'd love to have it detached all the time, but I'm not vain enough to think I could hunt well that way, or at least not well enough.

Sorry didn't see the test shooting... Well done... and there is nothing wrong with your skills regarding open sights :)...

Because a Rigby shoot these...
;)

Both are South African produced monolithic bullets by Peregrine. On the left 300 grain Plains Game bullets and on the right their Bushmaster bullets in 340 grain

Interesting. I've never seen them before, but I have to say, if they shoot as well as they look, Peregrine has a good product!

Do you have any cull hunts available? 7 days, daily rate plus per animal price?
