If You Lost Everything

From the above commentary, things must be mighty slow in our shooting/hunting world.

MMMmmm, time to go move the lawn sprinklers to a dry spot.

Bolt Action 22LR. (Marlin or CZ)
Bolt Action 223 (probably CZ)
Bolt Action 30/06 (Win 70 or Sako 85)
Bolt Action 375 H&H (Win 70 Alaskan or Kimber Talkeetna)
Bolt Action 458 Win Mag/Lott (Win 70 Safari Express or Kimber Caprivi)
Browning BPS 12 Ga Shotgun

This would handle most anything you'd ever run into.

The two calibers I would have to replace immediately would be .275/7x57 and .375 H&H. There would be a lot of internal debate on the specific rifles.

My 1988 Remington 35 Whelen
My 1936 Austrian Mauser in 338 Mag
My CZ 404 Jeff
My CZ550 308 full stock

Why the 375 Winchester Alaskan and not the Safari?
Light and just fits me better. Wouldn’t turn down a safari either, just a personal fit thing…I bring it up and it’s right there.

Bergara hmr Premier rifle with leupold 5hd scope cds. Chambered in 6.5 creed. For Mid size game to large game

12 gauge Over under browning citori for small game and birds

Bergara hunter Premier 300 win mag with leupold 3hd cds scope for large to dangerous game.

Brno 602 Magnum in .375 H&H, with a simple 4x Zeiss scope, in Alaska brand lever rings.

After I have all the town's church bells toll, hire me some self-flagellating mourners and some weeping, wailing women, spend a month fasting and wearing black from head to toe for the loss of the rifle in my profile pic, I'd probably buy myself another classic single shot. Maybe an Alex Henry.

With no budget restraints:
Mossberg 152 22lr. and unlimited ammo to replace the one I had as a kid.
Win 70 6.5Cr.
Win 70 Safari Express 375HH.
Remington 870 3" 12 guage.
Presses, dies and unlimited components.

And just for giggles, a Rigby .275 Highland Stalker.

A good 375HH with adjustable comb, 2 scopes in quality QR mount (1-6ish for stalking and one larger German for low-light conditions).
A good full-size 22LR bolt action (that means Anschutz 1416..) with a good scope.
Ammo and hunting for rest of the money...

Maybe the 375 would be a take-down, kind of tiered of hauling the big Pelicase around

Hello, My wife and I hunted with Marius 2 years ago. He fit us into his schedule after a different outfitter "bailed" on us. He was always very good with communications and although we didn't end up meeting him personally, he called us multiple times during our hunt to make sure things were going well. We were very happy with him.

Reach out to the guys at Epic Outdoors.

They will steer you right for landowner tags and outfitters that have them.

I have held a membership with them for years and they are an invaluable resource.

Way better that asking random people on the internet...WAY better

Skydiver386,

Did you ever find your 30-06 CZ550? I own a fairly solid conditioned one, if you wanted to talk.
