I live not far from Bath, and would be very happy to buy you a pint, and talk about hunting if you're in the area.

I just drove by you on June 12th on my way to Pen-Y-Cae in Wales, sorry to miss you.

My wife and I will be in London the second week of July.
We may rent a car for a day or two to get out in the country side for some sight seeing.
Any good sights around Bath?
Could possibly catch up with you for a pint or two.

You could go to Wells and see the famous cathedral and the town which is quite nice and then on to Glastonbury which is steeped in folklore and legend.
Bath is a nice place to look around too, you can even visit the American Museum.....

I'm not too far away and would be happy to meet for a pint.

We will be visiting the Salisbury and Berkshire area May 6-9. Would be glad to meet up for a pint if it worked (and I’m always grateful for a chance to talk about hunting!).

Salisbury is good, I pass through there regularly.

Thanks for the info , will check it out.
Also to meet for pint and some tales would be ace.

I'm in Salisbury quite often, and very happy to meet up. If you get a chance, visit Greenfield's gunmakers; I think you'll enjoy it!

Well, we've had a very tough year but I hope things will start to get better soon. The offer of a pint is always open. Would be good to have an opportunity to talk about hunting once we're allowed to travel again.

Really hope travel, and more importantly lives, get back to half way normal- soon! Dang it is hard on people in some areas and countries. @Donnachaidh, I would absolutely take you up on a pint and some hunting and firearms chat and I'd get the second pint if I could get there in the next year or two. I have never been to GB and have really been wanting to go for a while now. Some of my ancestors are from that area. But loooong ago... earliest to Massachusetts about 1640. I think some traceable relatives still in the triangle of Newbury, Portsmouth and Bristol.

I hunted elephant with Luke Samaris in 2005. It was my fourth safari and I tell you he is a fine gentleman the best. I got the opportunity to meet Patty Curtis, although never hunted with him but enjoyed our conversation around our tent in the Selous. Very sad for a tough guy to leave this world the way he did. Let’s pray the murderers are caught. I hope to see Luke in Nashville.
