Hello guys I'm back again for more knowledge, I know this may sound stupid but I already know a MALE Sable is unmistakable and strikingly distinctive but my question is how does one identify between a Roan and a FEMALE Sable...from my uneducated eye they look similar

Roan is much bigger, even a cow sable will have longer horns, the ears on a roan are very distinct (longer) facial markings are different and the colors aren’t really that close once you see them in the flesh.
Have you tried google images and just looked at that?
You know you will hunt with a PH if you ever go to Africa…
