Monish, the following statement is in fun...

Do you own a library or just live in one??? The photos are amazing, and the dress code of the day was pretty amazing as well.:p

:laughing: My friend, its my passion or should I state a obsession to read & research about the golden hunting era of India & Africa , which existed long time ago , so just wish to relive all those bygone glorious hunting days...

Great pictures Monish! Thanks for sharing. Sadly, those days will never be repeated.

Days gone by forever...I wish you could turn the hands of time backwards.

Excellent thread Monish. Thanks for the pics. What we as modern day hunters must remember is that these hunters had no,telephones, faxes, mobniles, internet and all the other communication available to us.
No one could really keep track of what was shot, how many, how fequently, where it was shot etc.We cannot judge as say why so many?I certainly would have joined in if I lived back then.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
