Hunting Brown Bear in Russia

I have never hunted bear in Russia,but shot one that
almost ran me over on a driven hunt between Moscow
and Leningrad for Moose and wildboars in 94.
It came in to the drive and I shot it in the head at about 10 m.
The ordinary russians are very friendly but the truth is not the same thing there
as in the west.
The hunt can be a success or a fiasco.It's a gamble there as in the other east europe states.
