Welcome to the dark side, you've joined a great forum for hunters.

Mulga, welcome to the AH forum! Lots of folks from “down under” here.

Hello from Toowoomba Australia. Long time lurker, lots of good conversation here. I don't hunt as much as I like and make pretty good biltong. I grew up reading Capstick, Ruark and other such stories so I'm bit of a romantic nostalgic.
@Mulga
G'day from Wyong on the central coast of nsw between Sydney and Newcastle. Mate there are heaps of Aussies here. We're all and with a great sense of humour especially @CBH Chris, @bruce moulds and watch out for the two mad bastard from the USA @CoElkHunter and @RandyF. Those blokes will crack you right up. Every one on this forum are great people full of wisdom and knowledge. It's the best forum around.
Please tell me you don't have a 243 tho. How old are you a nd what weapons do you own.
You also don't live far from a great mate of mine Ted Mitchell.
Once again welcome
Bob

No I dont own a 243Win.

@ Mulga
You have a great selection. Love the 25/06, 280AI and the 338/06. The 338 is almost a 35 Whelen so not to bad. How much trouble do you have getting ammo for the 9.3x66 Sako. My gunsmith has just built one for a customer great looking cartridge.
Yeah Ted write mainly for Sporting Shooter and is a to bloke.

Ammo for the 9.3x66 is easy as I roll my own. Beretta Aus. has Sako brass.

Welcome to AH. Looks like a nice selection of rifles but here the answer is always at least one more!

Hi Jon,
I saw your post for the .500 NE cases. Are these all brass or are they nickel plated? Hard for me to tell... sorry.
Thanks,
