Howdy from Texas!

Nice introduction KB. I'm a fellow Texan myself. Welcome to the board.

Don't hesitate to reach out if you want to bounce off ideas about safaris with me. Have a good summer.

Thanks! Our place is near Hilda, southwest Mason County, roughly in between Mason and Fredericksburg. Bandera/Medina/Vanderpool is definitely a beautiful area with some real ‘hills’! We make an annual trip to the Frio River every summer and I always try to take the scenic route through there on the way from Houston. If my wife had her druthers though, we’d live around Boerne on a golf course. I’m trying to postpone that a bit so I’ll actually have some funds for safaris!

Thanks for the offer on the rifles! Id like to round out the RSM collection with a .375 and .416 if you happen to have either…
Doh. I watched one in .416 BNIB go for $2400 today (not including 22.5% buyer's premium). Hope someone here picked it up.

Which site? That’s a pretty good deal, even with the premium.

I’m trying to hold out for the ones with little or no rounds thru them, later models with the band swivel on the barrel and not in the fore-end, and above all else (relatively) good wood.

Thanks for the welcome. You wouldn’t happen to hang around TBH would you?

It was some auction house in Tallahassee. Centurion Auctions. I will post a screenshot in a moment from my phone. I am not a RSM owner, but was thinking about purchasing it for a friend who loves them and then got busy.

Yes sir, I used to frequent TBH, but hated the change to the site several years back and slowly quiet quit that site. :-). Also, I have been putting off a shoulder replacement for years and even sold my bows!

Here is the pic. Nice wood for a RSM and NIB. I put a bid on it several weeks ago so I would get updates on the auction, and then got busy working in the backyard and missed all of my notices! It ended up about where my max would have been! It was $2300 plus premium.

Thought so… I still have the .30-378 Wby I bought from you several years back! Hope you’ve been well. I don’t frequent TBH near as much since the new formatting… still bow hunt but I definitely have an affinity for rifles, and the larger, the better!

Awesome. I hope you enjoy it. Man, I spilled a lot of blood and pig brains with that rifle! Welcome aboard again!

Well, it’s still in business! It’s a sweet shooter and I’ve enjoyed it quite a bit. Will make a good PG rifle one of these days.

Glad to see you here, sir!

Howdy from South Texas!

I was on a week-long business trip to the UK last month, and thankfully found some time to do a little sight-seeing:

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!

X5i scope is perfect - thanks for an easy transaction! Buy with confidence.
Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA
