Hhmmm...."How hard is too hard?"...
Well there are too many variables without more information.:
Shooter,?
Barrel to stock,?
Scope,?
Scope "sensitivity"?
Scope mimn - max magnification and BDC if equipped. And with what bullet weight?
Scope parallax single or multiple?
Ammo: factory or reloads and at what FPS and FP at zero range to one's comfort zone max range?
Ammo: bullet soft or solid?
Ballistics:???? ie. Zero at 200 yds or meters; what is the bullet rise/fall at less than and greater than zero range?
The more variables you can control the more precise your shot and shot placement below and above one's zero range.
I prefer 1/8" MIL vs 1/4" MOA Scope adjustments which equals 3, 4, 5, shots touching at 200 yards vs. 3, 4, 5, shots within a 2" - 2 1/2" even 4" - 5" groupings.
Just too many variables and your acceptable accuracy; and your acceptable/comfortable max range.
Taking for granted you have done your very best for optimum:
I'm just guessing if your using factory ammo; it's the shooter and shooter's equipment.
I'm not guessing, I'm bluntly saying you didn't do your homework!!! You didn't do your do diligence to preform all of your checks!!! and calculations!!! to maximize your bullets minimal and maximal performance!!!
Just too many unanswered questions to give you a quality response.
Blaming your 4 Wheeler bouncing around and knocking your scope off....Well,....What’s your next excuse once you've corrected that problem? and when you missed your target.? Again.
I don't mean to be critical nor condescending of your abilities. I just want you to understand there are just to many variables/ unanswered questions/ lack of information to properly answer your questions and to recommend corrective actions.
Once you've have preformed a step by step elimination and can better narrow your information the better, more expertise, information and advice you can receive.
Just my 2 cents and 40 + years experience asking and receiving pretty much the same answer to the question you are asking.
