Pole Pole was picked on a Tanzania hunt in the Selous. It mean “slow and sure”. When I first heard it was my understanding that it meant “wise old man”. I chose it placing emphasis on “old”. A better handle would have been “mobit” (sp) which means “ready, let’s go” or something like that.

Many years ago, I had to choose the name of my mailbox. My last name was already taken. I was trying to find a word that wasn't very popular, but it was easy for me to remember it myself.
In one popular and beloved science fiction novel, the authors used Hungarian names for aliens. And the Hungarian language, no offense to Hungarians, is like nothing else. So I took the name of one village - it's spelled a little differently, but it's pronounced like my nickname. So I don't have any doppelgangers on the Internet, except for a small cardboard box company .
And the avatar is an old Japanese engraving from the samurai series. I liked the look on this guy's face when shooting

For some reason that I can't remember, I had to change my user name and everything that I came up with using my name was taken, so the the suggestion on the computer said try using a family pet or hobby...hence " Yumastepside "...my dog and my vehicle at the time.
