When planning your vacation, there are several considerations in determining whether to use a travel agent. Which airlines get the best reviews? Can a travel agent save you money in the long run? Which airlines are firearm-friendly? What is the fastest route to get to your destination?
These are questions we get often! Using a knowledgeable travel agent can save you a lot of stress, time, and hassle when planning your next trip. We do our best to stay up to date on the issues facing the global sportsman so you don’t have to wonder about changing regulations, hidden fees, and conflicting information found elsewhere. Booking through Travel Express is the smart way to travel. . .
Beginning November 1, 2010, all passenger reservations must include Secure Flight Passenger Data which consists of the passenger name “exactly” as it appears on ID used for travel (passport), date of birth, and gender. Airline reservations that do not exactly match your travel document may result in denied boarding and additional expenses to correct the problem.
Real ID:
Real ID requirement is now supposed to go into effect May 7, 2025. Find out more with the Department of Homeland Security.
Flights are available to book 11 months prior to your return date. We like to have your flight details around this time frame and can advise you of current versus average rates and suggested routes for your proposed travel itinerary.
When planning the timing of flights, you can typically figure one to two days each direction for travel if you are leaving from the U.S. to Africa or Argentina. Factors that can change that timeline are routings via Europe or UAE, extended layovers, or even forced overnights due to flight schedules.
If traveling onward from a major hub then you may have a forced overnight due to the timing of the connection flights. Flights to New Zealand and Australia arrive two days after departure from the U.S. due to crossing the international dateline but you normally return home on the same date as your departure on the return flights. Knowing these routes allows us to easily compare and suggest the best options for you.
Worry less and let Travel Express guide you through the process.
We strongly recommend travelers take a minimum of 4 copies of ALL important documents. That includes items such as a passport, itinerary, proof of insurance coverage, 4457, firearm declaration or transit permit, visa, and invitation letter.
