It’s none of my business what another man does. I’m not going near another horse owner nor their farm until we know this is contained.

What my wife has taken in from her equine contacts is concerning. Do as you please with the information.

sounds pretty serious, as I dont run any of the circuits I hope Im good, my 3 horses and 4 mules generally stick too the mountains , but we need to know more.

I think mine should be ok. They have not left the farm since 2015 and no strange horse has been here since then either
But I will seen that to other people

I agree. My wife is an equine therapist setting up a new practice in a new state. There’s not enough information. I’m just glad we’re not a vector in case this is as pathogenic as sources claim .

I quit giving riding lessons to people who bring their own horses. There are some big horse events going on right now plus the NFR is coming up. It’s getting wild. Hope it gets contained asap, it’s bad stuff.

It’s bad news for Horsemen around here. Add to that Cattlemen are having to worry about Screwworms coming from Mexico. And Hunters a new area of CWD in central Texas.

A lot of equine sports sites direct horse owners to this site for up to date information on the outbreak.

It is reported that the horse euthanized in Maryland on the 18th tested positive for EHV-1 but is not listed as part of the outbreak due to the unrelated nature and location. So, that’s good news for sure.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
