H4350 is one of my favorite powders... I have used it in both .30/06 and .375 H&H... 80.0 grains with a 300 Partition in my Ruger RSM is a deadly combo. In .30/06, I have switched to Ramshot Hunter.

I for one would be interested in seeing your test /ballistics results and recipe.Hard to beat RL-15 for proven data. H-4350 is a solid performer too. If I were to start a new load I would take a swing at RL-17, it works great in the slightly larger 375 Ruger case. The next 375 H&H I get my hands on will try RL-17.
Thank you!For whatever reason I've not had luck with H4350 in any of the calibers I've tried it in. It is supposed to be quite close to IMR4350. The IMR version works very well in a .30-06, 7mm and my .375HH. Why the H4350 doesn't is likely just my rifles are finicky about it would be my guess.
I say this not to knock on Hodgdon. If I combine IMR4350 with Hodgdon's Varget and H4831, I can cover most of the rifles in my cabinet, add H4895 for 250gr .375 loads. So I'm a fan of Hodgdon even if the H4350 doesn't work for me.
I would suggest to the OP to go to Hodgdon's reloading website. Choose .30-06 for caliber and H4350 as powder. Leave bullet weight unselected. Once you hit the get loads button, it will list out a number of loads of many bullet weights.

Thank you!If you are seeing more listings with IMR-4350 than H4350 then you are probably looking at old data.
Since going to H4350 I never went back to IMR-4350.
I also switched from RL-15 to Varget due to the better Thermo-Ballistic-Indepence and less lot-to-lot variability.
RL-17 is a great newer powder compared to the older ones above.
It is more energy dense and slightly more compact than H4350, maybe not so good as H4350 on TBI.
RL-16 might have improved on the TBI.
If I am getting 2736 fps with a 300-grainer in my 24"-barreled, 1945-vintage-long-throated .375 Weatherby with 88.0 grains of H4350,
then probably 86 grains of RL-17 might do a few fps faster at similar pressure.
RL-17 is remarkable for being easy to reliably ignite 180 grains of it in the 12 Gauge From Hell with a 209 shotgun primer, under a 1400-grain lead slug.
I never tried RL-17 in my old .375 Weatherby, or my new one with the latest CIP shorter throat chamber.
But here is a comparison of three "4350s" in the old long-throat with 24" barrel,
just three shots with each, 300-gr Sierra GameKing, F215 primer, instrumental 5-yard velocities:
AA-4350: 2722 fps Ave., 10 fps ES, 5 fps Std.Dev.
IMR-4350: 2689 fps Ave., 43 fps ES, 22 fps Std.Dev.
H4350: 2736 fps Ave., 12 fps ES, 6 fps Std.Dev.
Just an anecdote, maybe a bum lot of IMR-4350, but I am happy with H4350 with 300-grainers in the .375 WbyMag,
and 180-grainers in the .30-06,
and 140-grainers in my 6.5 Manbun.
Cfe223 for 375h&h?That might be a little too slow / bulky for you. You might be able to make up for it some if you seat it long so you can probably get more powder in there, and/or if you use a case that has more capacity / thinner walls. But I think you'd be better off trying to pick up something that will burn more efficiently CFE223 or Ramshot Hunter/Big Game /TAC or StaBALL 6.5, or Accurate 4350 would all be more efficient.

@PuddleI've used H4350 with a 180-grain cup-n-core and bonded bullet from my .30-06 since forever. Extraordinarily consistent with loads just over 2,700 fps MV from a 24" barrel.
I also use H4350 with a 300-grain bonded bullet to target 2,450 fps MV from my 24" .375 H&H barrel.
If you want the same MVs and trajectories from both .30-06 & .375 H&H, then match the 180 grain .30-06 load with a 270 grain bullet out of the .375 H&H. You'll need to use a touch faster propellant than H4350 such as Varget.
Do check the Hodgdon Reloading website for related load data.
@rwp315Thanks to all for responding. It’s a big help for getting started with the 375 and getting back to the 35W.
