I still have a couple. I bought my first one when I was 17 with lawn mowing money. Have sold a couple over the years as well. Sold a PSG-1 for almost twice what I paid for it and still kick myself—sold waaaay too soon. . GLWS.

Yes I had a PSG1 in the 80s and sold fir double back then!!
The scope mount is worth 1k ..The trigger groups you won't believe me what they go for now!!..(see recent photo of one that just sold)
The collapsible stock $6-1000 and so on...I see the rifles go for 4k and up to over 7k alone if a Preban..

Likely krylon, however, there are HK factory 91s with woodland and desert camo. Very rare in the states, but perhaps many were sold in Africa.

I just sold my Desert camo 91 that I bought in 1988 when Bush stopped imports, It was just sitting in the safe and I wasn’t going to use it figured someone would want it in a HK collection. Sold on GB for $9026.00

I just sold my Hk psg1 Trigger pack on GB it didn’t have the actual wood grip it had a molded plastic grip which I actually wanted when I bought it, housing was Actual HK. Sold for $2500. I had for a build i was doing but hard to find the trunion for the psg1. So I sold off all parts.

I just sold my Hk psg1 Trigger pack on GB it didn’t have the actual wood grip it had a molded plastic grip which I actually wanted when I bought it, housing was Actual HK. Sold for $2500. I had for a build i was doing but hard to find the trunion for the psg1. So I sold off all parts.

I remember walking in the the HK importer store in Sterling, VA and was shocked that the PSG1 mechanism with grip was $399. Highway robbery.
