Greetings NYHunter444,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

I used to buy and stack up guns like firewood.
Then in my 50’s, I took out a loan and went to Africa ….. instant addiction.
Soon as I returned home, I began selling off my gun collection, to pay off that loan and make ready for a return safari.
My former 130-something piece gun collection is long gone.
However, I’ve been to Africa 6 times, with my 7th one planned, and I’m not sorry, not even close.

Someone once said:
“If I die today, I have lived a full life, for I have smelled the smokes of Africa and I have been to see the elephant”.

Hello all !
A safari hunt has long been on my bucket list and I'm not getting any younger.
I'll be 60 in a few short months, and having raised four children has never permitted me the luxury of one.
Collecting firearms isn't helping anything !
I am here to gather information and wisdom from those who have hunted Africa, and Lord willing, will be able to eventually plan and check this one off the list.
