Hi from New England

Glad to be here. Grew up hunting in Texas, now living in New England. I spent the early part of my career in foreign affairs, and now in international business. I definitely need to connect more hunting to my business travel.

Recently had my first hunt in South Africa organized by @mdwest with Gerrit and Louie from @Bos en Dal SAFARIS

I literally can not say enough good things about hunting with them. And not just because I shot a lifetime kudu on my first hunt. Dave captured most of the hunt report, but I'll try and provide my own take on it.

Look forward to learning from all of you.

I'll leave you with a view of the salt shed from our recent trip./

Welcome!

If you're who I think, you've got a great instagram page and killed one heck of an amazing Kudu. We actually went opposite directions. You from Texas to the Northeast and I went from the Northeast eventually to Texas.

Congrats on a great hunt!!!

Yeah, TexasSpyDad is me. And thanks. It’s fun to share some of that stuff on IG

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
