Heym 88b 450 NE Double Rifle For Sale

I was fortunate enough to purchase this rifle.
@Dakota Hunter represented the rifle well, and it ended up looking even better in person than the pictures! He made the process a breeze.
Hornady factory ammo shot perfectly to sights. My first load attempt w/ 500gr Barnes TSX also shot perfectly to sights and produced a 2.6” (horizontal) group @50yds (pretty damn good for first reload attempt in a double). That was completely from scratch, as I had no Barnes data or VHT N560 data go off of.
This was my dream cartridge & rifle. The gun balances absolutely perfect & points where you want it with no effort. When I bring the gun up, sights are already lined up where I intend to fire!
The action is noticeably slim & trim. I really like the way the PH model is a “plain” working rifle. It shows off the amazing craftsmanship of metal & wood fit w/ clean, impressive lines. A prime example of the German engineering. I will have to have JJ work on the triggers as they are a stout 10 & 8lbs, but that should be an easy fix. Could not be more pleased.

The 450 3 1/4” is a great round and as you have found out, easy to load for.

Congratulations. I also like the clean lines of the PH model, wysiwyg.

You did well! I fought this one hard. Had it lasted a few more weeks I don't know if I could have held out. It is a beautiful Rifle! Hope it's serves you well and you two share many adventures together.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
