Can you elaborate on that? I have a 1 MOA Trijicon on my .500 and don't seem to have an issue with that. It does sit pretty low. Not to mention when one is getting fitted the comb height can take red dot, scope etc. into account. Chris Sells accounted on scope height when measuring me for my 9.3x74R.... If you decide to go with a red dot I would stay away from the factory base. You will lose your cheek weld.
